Super Cub 25e on floats

I fly my Super Cub strictly off water so I chose the high performance setup. In order to satisfy the Float length=75% Fuselage length, I opted for the 83cm Nitroplane floats with the Hangar 9 size 40 float mount. This combination goes together perfectly without modifications. The plane is fairly tail heavy without the landing gears so I am using a 4S 14.8V 5000mAh LiPo battery vs just weights to balance out the plane. I use aileron-to-rudder mixing on my DX7 for coordinated turns. I agree with the other reviewers this is more an intermediate/advanced plane. Compared to my other float planes from Eflite, ie. DHC Beaver 25e, Pulse XT 25e and the J3 Cub 25e, the Super Cub is by far the most challenging plane to fly well but also the most rewarding. The plane is beautifully crafted and the universal light kit and the aluminum spinner complete the scale look. I already have another one on order just in case.

Why have you discontinued such a fine product.

I owned one gave it to my son. Love the plane and figure i just order a newone. Only find you don't have her anymore. What a shame luckily i travel and found one. Bit still seems you drop the the winner and keep the loser. Motto If not gas powered it a not plane .
