I got this little gadget for when the kids have clogged the bathroom sink by dropping who knows what down the drain. We had to take the stoppers out a few years back when our youngest figured out how to flood the sinks, and ever since then it's been "challenge accepted" for putting weird stuff down the drains and blaming it on the dog. It's also great for grabbing stuff from behind the radiator and other tight spots. If your dog (or cat) is also prone to jamming up the drains, it's a good investment. It's also probably good for fishing, but I haven't had a chance to use it for that just yet.

Great for catfish!
