Super Lite 3" Wheels

I am in the process of building a Digital BNF Horizon Super Cub. The 3" "Tundra" tires will allow me to fly out of "Rough" LZ's in my far back yard. I am currently using the 2 1/2" Super Lite's and find them to work well but need to be larger.

Rolls Easy

Put on Multiplex MiniMag to handle rough terrain, much improved over original wheels.

Mini apprentice tundra tires

I used these tires on my mini apprentice as tundra type tires. It has enabled the mini to now take off and land just about anywhere and actually provides a smoother ride when taxing. In order for this to work you will have to slightly modify the tire to fit. First I installed a metal sleeve that was conducive to low them to fit onto the metal landing gear shafts as the hole is too big. Secondly I had to make the tires and rims thinner to allow the wheel collar to fit with the tires. Once that was done it was on to testing. Just wow; what a difference they made. Plane flys well with them with no problems.
