First of all I bought this because it's not as wide as a double bed. From the pictures they seem to expect it to be used on a bed. I have an extra wide chair where the padding has gotten pushed down and this works out perfectly. It's a much higher quality than I expected. It's very supportive. I can rest my arm on it without it sinking down, it feels nice and it looks great. I also like how I can sort of bend it to fit into the corner of my chair. I looked at several options to use on my chair and a bunch of back support items have to be stuffed by me. Well I am not going to pay $40 to $75 to have to stuff my own back support. It did come in a kind of medium sized box, not big at all but not really small either. It was rolled up and stuffed into several plastic bags then shrink wrapped. It dang near took me half an hour to unwrap it but I ended up with 3 good sized clear bags I can use for recycling so that's nice. It didn't have an odor and it fluffed up pretty fast. I believe the instructions said to let it sit at least 4 hours or overnight but I only let it sit for about a half hour and it seemed fully inflated to me so I started using it right away. I like it. I like it lot. It's soft but it also has support. It feels like it will hold up for a good while which of course depends on how often you use it. I'm going to use it every day and so far after a month it's looking pretty good.
