This 6" drop ball hitch is an absolute unit. Solid metal all the way through—no hollow bits, no shortcuts, no nonsense. If Thor ever decided to tow a trailer, this is the hitch he'd use (probably forged in the same place as his hammer). It's so well-built, I feel like I could use it to anchor a battleship or fend off a zombie horde. But let's talk function—because this thing isn't just pretty steel. The 6-inch drop is perfect for my V-nose trailer, and best of all, I can actually drop my truck's tailgate without it smashing into the coupler. No more weird limbo dances trying to squeeze stuff into the bed. If you're tired of weak, rattly hitches and want one that screams "I lift things," this is the one. Just be careful—you might start towing random stuff just for the excuse to use it.

Snug fit and looks great!

Installation wasn't smooth at first. Grabbed a short 2x2 piece of wood and used that to tap the bracket into place. After that, it was easy going. Very hapoy. Now, I do wish that RC made a wiring harness bracket.
