I ordered the Dynamic Gear Open Patella Stabilizing Knee Brace with Dual Aluminum Stability Hinges - Padded Neoprene Adjustable Compression Knee Support Brace for Meniscus Tear, ACL, Strains, Knee Pain, Arthritis and I'm very pleased with the support it provides my knee. I have arthritis and my right knee has been giving me a fit. Pain is so bad I have to almost hop around. I've been wearing this brace, which has great cushion,as well as, Velcro straps to ensure comfort. It's given this knee great support. It's also helped the left knee because I'm not putting all my weight on it and hopping around. This brace moves easily with you. It's not real bulky like some I've tried. It's a great quality knee brace. I've gotten wrist braces from my insurance where they measure you and call you when they're in. This brace is of the same great quality. I'm very pleased with my choice. I can't believe the amount of cushion and how smoothly it moves with you. AWESOME SUPPORT!

FOR SERIOUS STABILITY AND SUPPORT
For minor sprains or pains use one of the simpler compression wraps without stability staves. This gear is more complicated and bulky and is made for serious support such as post op , chronic injury and weakness. Hinges are removable for washing entire brace. Follow instructions on package to put on brace to avoid confusion.

The quality surprised me! Wearing for the first time now, and it seems to be working well. I am bone on bone with my knee and it releases the pressure on the joint just enough to help! Less bulky as the Ace. Just might get another!
