In the Heat of the Night Season 5

I now have all available episodes of this series - it has a good cast and gives a good picture of events that happened in the South. It is a shame that all episodes have not been released for various reasons. I would buy those unreleased episodes if they ever became available.

Where are the missing episodes?

We love this TV Series. We bought the "complete series", or so we thought, and was especially wanting to see the conclusion of Season 5 Episode 21 (we had a Dr. apt. and missed this and were dying to see how this ended! We were totally miffed to find it was NOT on any DVD. I googled it because we went thru ever disc and could no find it. Then found it was not included on the last disc of Season 5!! WHY?! I even tried to find it on YouTube...but couldn't find it there either!!
