Not a great design

Quality of construction is fine, but design may not work for everyone. Given this is a 34 inch wide tub, there's a lot of wasted space. Also, the bath is very shallow so unless you're using this to bathe small children, or have ADA concerns, you should find another model.

reply from Consumer Connection

Hello Andy, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with the size of the 48005. I know that can be frustrating if you're used to more space. If you ever have any questions about a product before purchasing, please reach out to us using the Contact Us form or Chat option on our website, and an American Standard Consumer Connection Advisor will be happy to assist you. We are available Monday - Friday between 8AM - 7PM ET. Sincerely, Nicole Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team (americanstandard-us.com/contact-us)

Leaks at overflow

These tubs fail very early in thier life and begin to leak at the built-in overflow, the overflow is just fiberglass attached to the steel tub and crack and separate after minimual use, would not recomend this product
