Chrome BOX CB1-014 PC

Fed up with maintaining a Windows machine and as an avid Chrome user, I decided to give this little box a try. Speed: Turn the machine on, type in your Google password, and you're immediately on the internet. It takes a matter of seconds, rather than minutes with a Windows OS. Simplicity: You need to think of this box as just a Chrome browser, not a full-fledged computer. Ninety-five percent of my time on a computer is on the internet, so this makes sense for me. To just get straight on the internet without navigating through other programs or systems is awesome! Value: I have a tight budget and saved up to get this. It's well worth the price. To Consider: * Easy to set up the first time. I took about an hour to learn the Chrome Operating System. I'm now a whiz :). * This is not an option for someone who is a photographer or someone who has to use a program on their machine for whatever reason. Only online apps are available. I do use my traditional Windows laptop for my photos. * Using Google Drive is an easy to learn alternative for MS Office programs. * Do NOT be concerned about the 2GB RAM. Without a load of programs and heavy system to keep up with, 2GB is more than enough. * This would be a great option as a "cable cord cutter" device to hook up to your TV, adding a wireless keyboard and mouse. Netflix, Hulu, etc. are easy to access and videos play swimmingly. * This would be a great option for a second computer or a kids computer for homework or something like that. * This does not come with a monitor, mouse, or keyboard. I found a 23" TV on clearance that works great, I already had a wireless keyboard and mouse. Everything seems to work with no issues.
