Who doesn't like fresh churned butter. I bought the item for my daughter as a hands on brain engaged new experience. It is simple enough, but after watching a couple of 17 year olds on video who had never used or seen a rotary dial phone, try to use it... one learns quickly that what I may know that is as easy as breathing, may not be someone else's experience. Be kind, there's hundreds of ways to mess something up but only one way that works best. Be humble, because nobody knows everything about everything. Peace out.

First of all, it's not near as messy as the one I had. It's fully self contained. I will have to say that making butter in 10 minutes is wrong. It took more like 30 minutes with heavy whipping cream at room temp. If it was unpasteurized cream straight from the cow, yeah maybe. I am still very satisfied with the butter churn. It looks cool too.
