Safavieh Tucson Forrester Oriental Machine Washable Area Rug, Navy/Rust, 4' x 4' Round

TLDR: Strongly recommend for value, softness, colors, but if you have concerns about only natural products in house (i.e., young kids on floor) and longevity of colors, do your own research. I only bought and reviewed for looks and price, not worried about long-term. (see below) We went with this brand because we had bought two clearance Safavieh ones in Walmart store and liked them (different pattern). Know that this is not a rug in traditional sense, but it is some type of 21st century material run through a print machine. (the equivalent of pink slime vs hamburger) That's not a negative for us, as rugs are crazy expensive. This is a fabulous value for the money. very soft and works great to protect a natural flooring surface underneath from pets, wear, etc. If we had kids who'd be rolling on it and ingesting gases, etc., I would have looked more into what it is made of.(**It may be fine--I didn't look. we bought wool carpets to avoid petroleum and other chemicals when we had kids in-house, so that used to be an issue for us**) So, if you have babies, toddlers, etc. and are worried about "natural" products, maybe do your own research. But for old people like us or if your research makes you comfortable with it, this is a great deal for the money, and a good product. It's very soft and the pattern is growing on me, at minimum it is perfect in terms of dirt concealing. Definitely recommended.
