I was anxious to receive

I was anxious to receive my gravity feeder kit and I ordered 2 of them to replace my battery/motor operated with the spinner on them. I installed them as soon as they arrived and I've got a brother and some friends that have the Boss Feeder and they liked these better. Thanks, D

Conversion

I wanted to convert several of my spin feeders to gravity feeders, I bought the gravity portion and mounted it in place of the others and it cut down on the feed usage and allowed me to use more protean feed because it didn't get waisted on the ground. They shipped on timed fit very well.

Gravity feeder is easy to

Gravity feeder is easy to put together and easy to install. I had to get this type feeder because of problems I have had with the programable and dawn to dusk feeders. The dawn to dusk feeder actually came apart. The three screws that attach the top ring with locking lugs pulled out of the remaining bottom part. Also it appears both feeders that use the 6V battery has to have brand new batteries with enough current for the motor to operate. Will need to look into the solar power generator that charges the battery.
