Excellent shaver my forth Braun. Replaced a series 7 Braun as it was less expensive to purchase a new series 5090 than replace the shaver head on the series 7! The 5090 shaves just as close as the series 7. The 5090 can also be cleaned under running water which will be helpful while traveling. Using the clean & charge station takes less time than the series 7 as well. Overall this is a great shaver.

I recently lost most of my hair due to chemotherapy. There were just patches of hair and my wife and I decided it would look better if I just shaved my head. I can't use blade razors because I also use a very powerful blood thinner and was told an electric shaver would not do a good job on my head. I bought this shaver and am very happy with it. I do my entire face and head with it and I think it does a good job.
