I bought this game for my 11 year old son. He has enjoyed it very much. In the game, you are the owner of an island you get to name. You can make up to 100 Mii's with a selection of different clothing, hair and personalitites. They will interact with each other and even ask for your advice to certain situations. When they have a problem, they will come to you for help. You can earn money to buy them things to make them happy and if you succeed, they will level up which adds more money to your account. As they interact, some of them will become friends and some will even fall in love. You have 20 island locations so your Mii's never get bored. There are events that go on throughout the day that you can check on to see who is there and what they might need.

I bought this item about a month ago and I just love it! I was worried when I bought the game because it's not like anything I've played before and it was a brand new game series, however I thought it was fantastic!
