Eureeka! I figured out the problem

Similar to a lot of parents who left reviews about this product on walmart.com or amazon.com, my sons were having major issues with cars continually coming off the tracks at full speed. After paying attention to where the cars were coming off the tracks (and also noting where the majority of the marks were made on my wall from crashing cars), I began to just toy around with the tracks and found that the smallest thing made the biggest difference: where the outer orange track connects to the yellow figure eight, you'll find that adjusting the connection point so that the tips of the orange track face outwards at the connection point instead of inwards should keep the cars on the tracks. (See picture attached to this review to better understand what I'm saying. Hopefully, the connection point is clear enough.) If you find that cars crash on your tracks at a different point, then try adjusting the connection points to see if that works. Since I made this small change, the cars stay on track and the toy operates completely as advertised. I'm now completely happy with the purchase!

Super dooper Looper

Gave this to our grandson for 4th birthday. With help from Dad, he was looping in no time. Don't forget the batteries tho! He played with it without the batteries until they managed to get to the store. This may be a little too much for a 4 year old to put together and play alone at first. But, grandson doesn't care. He had been watching it on youtube for so long this was the only thing he really wanted.

Loop da Loop

My 4yr old loves this track. It is a little noisy with the cars in motion, but that is expected. The motion of the cars is very fast! When a car comes off the track, it just falls straight down, mostly from losing speed in the top of the curves.
