The speakers have sound like those that cost hundreds of dollars! My IPAD connects quickly and I can even leave the case attached to my IPAD. The volume is sufficient to be heard in several rooms at once with no distortion even at the highest volume. Plus, I love the convenient volume controls. My husband was shocked when he heard the quality of the sound. So much in such a conveniently small device--and it even charges your IPAD or IPOD as you use it. Now, this is a most unbelievable feature--there are 5 or 6 adapter plugs for use of this device around the world on multiple different electrical systems!
