During these uncertain times, it is important to remember that you should stock up on shelf stable goods. For those states that did not receive food stamps this month, here's what I recommend. And this is from years of going to the food pantry myself. Go ahead and go to the Walmart website and sort by price ascending. You will find canned items like this that can sit on the shelf for months on end. You may even find that you can buy some of the emergency foods that last up to 10 years. I've got some of this on my shelf from five years ago that I'm still planning on eating. I may not receive food stamps this month, but I've still got about a week's worth of canned food such as this. Everybody go ahead and stock up on these items during these uncertain times. Thank God for Chef Boyardee.

Quick, great-tasting meal

I have had meat ravioli at a number of Italian restaurants, I've had meat ravioli which was prepared by friends who are good cooks, and frankly, my favorite meat ravioli has remained Chef Boyardee's meat ravioli from a can. The key is in the sauce which has a nice, slow-cooked, not-too-sweet tomato flavor with a hint of meat. Sadly, they seem to keep experimenting with how much sugar they add to the sauce -- it is still pretty low but they have raised and lowered it over time -- I was unhappy with the versions where they raised it significantly. Something to keep an eye on, but I am happy with the current incarnation.

only issues are with the cans ever since they made the pop tops. they must leak air somehow and the product starts to get moldy inside the cans so not really great for long-term storage. bring back normal cans they require a can opener that actually sealed
