Soffe Classic Adult Heavyweight Short

I have been buying these Soffe Men's 100% Cotton Shorts since 2016, M774 product %23.. This current order through Walmart is the first time I purchased them outside of Amazon. Walmart gave me a $15.00 off customer coupon. So I used it. These were always great shorts. They were thick cotton with a covered waistband. The last purchase of two shorts from Amazon, Nov 2023, wore out in 8 months. They were very thin cotton, but still had the covered waist band. The order from Walmart matched the poor quality of the shorts I got through Amazon. I just called Soffe. They said they'd pass along my opinions, but there is nothing they can do about it. No coupons, no rebates, no nothing. Will have to look around for another pair of cotton shorts, or even poly/cotton shorts, with a covered waistband. I will not buy these any more and I suggest you don't either.
