Good product and excellent customer service

Super easy to use. the application is consistent and steady. I've used this sprayer for years to apply weed killer and it works perfectly. The nozzle broke after a couple years, so I called up Root-Lowell and they honored the lifetime warranty and sent me a brand new sprayer!

Terrible product

I purchased this RL Pro® 4 Gallon Diaphragm Backpack Sprayer. It leaked from the diaphragm the first time it was used. I returned it to Walmart for a refund. Thinking that I just got the one in a 'million' that was defective right out of the box, I purchased another of the same item. The second one I received also leaked from the diaphragm first time I put water in it. I poured water in the top and it ran right out the bottom, same as the first one. I didn't even have to pump it. Terrible product. And by the way, the Instruction Manual says this unit has a Lifetime warranty but when I spoke with Customer Service she said the warranty was only, actually, 5 years, and, ANY wear and tear is not covered by the warranty. So I guess that means there is actually no warranty at all. The second one is going back to Walmart too. Oh, and so much for being Made in the USA. Never again will I buy an H.D. Hudson product.
