Great for stew! Great for food storage!

I have had a HARD time getting barley anywhere and the price has grown outrageously since I last bought barley (it has gone from a dollar a bag to three!) I didn't need or intend to buy in bulk since I only use it for soups (so far). With that said, the package arrived on time, was cheaper in the long run, and will make approximately 48 stockpot-full of stew/soups, as I use about a half bag each time I make stew/soup. Thankfully, it has a decent shelf life.
