Back in 2006, I experienced what in the old days would have been referred to as a work-related "nervous breakdown". Those seem like a very loaded words when I look at them now. I'm pleased to say that over ten years on, I have never felt better and know for sure that the dark days are well behind me. As a Chartered Psychologist I've learned far more from my own life experience about how to deal with stress and create a healthy work life balance than I ever did from studying or taking exams. I wrote this book to help others who may be experiencing what I often felt, until I discovered the ideas I'm about to share.
