Paul 'Red' Dvorak was born and raised on the Texas gulf coast in Angleton, and his first album, 'Yesteryear', produced by Grammy winner Bobby Flores, is primarily a reflection of those times. While he is a longtime music fan, Red was a late bloomer, and not begin writing his own material until the age of forty. He enjoys listening to multiple genres and styles, but when it comes to writing, he creates a blend of traditional country and Americana. As Lucky Boyd at MyTexasMusic said about 'Yesteryear', 'the traditional roots run deep'. Looking for, 'something different' on his second album, Red teamed up with Bob Pearce, aka 'Slim Bawb', and the result was 'The Swamp Sessions' .... a rough around the edges, unrefined collection of songs that range from hard core knee-slappin' honky tonk to somber and sullen, to Slim Bawb's signature 'swampadelic hick hop'.
