5"H x 1 3/8"P x 94 1/2"L Brontes Chair Rail Moulding

We recently purchased a beautiful 1925 house that had been flipped. Our fireplace had a very small mantle piece that was surprisingly disappointing compared to the lovely brick fireplace beneath it. We really didnt have the money or expertise to remove this small, painted mantelpiece so we looked around for a 5 1/2 moulding to attach around the outside, level with the surface of the mantle. Finding one that looked appropriate to the age of the house was not an easily accomplished feat. Fortunately we found this product that looked beautiful. My husband sanded the surface of the mantle then we attached the chair railing to the edges on the sides and front. He then stained the wood and the attached moulding as one much bigger appearing mantle piece. The result is spectacular. The product made it easy to use. I wish there was a way to attach a photo to this review. We love it.
