Great system for us
This is the perfect size to hold all of our files for our small family of 4. We just moved, so I'm still in the process or reorganizing our files and updating them, but I can already tell this filing cabinet is perfect for holding at least a years' worth of documents. It is not big enough to keep legal-sized sheets of paper straight, but I only have like one packet of legal-sized documents, so it's not a big deal or anything. The sides are made out of particle board, so I'm not expecting it to handle a bunch of jostling around or anything. I would suggest asking the company to include more packaging, because one of the side panels arrived cracked. But, the company did a fantastic job of getting me a replacement panel in a timely manner.

it works for me
The file cabinet was delivered four days before it was scheduled to arrive which I was delited because my son was here to put it together for me. I didn't realize it was wood I thought I ordered a metal cabinet. It looks great in my home office. The drawers are not as deep as I would have liked, but it works for me.

We actually returned this item... we needed a 4 drawer file for our son. When it arrived and it was a) some assembly required and b) made of paste board and not metal we knew it would not survive. I would recommend it to anyone who understands these two things and still wants a file cabinet that is 1/3 less money than a metal of the same capacity.
