Amazing

These items used to cost much more and didn't work as well. This one works beautifully, and the brushed aluminum matches my laptop and they even threw in a case and a tiny screwdriver! Honestly, I seldom leave reviews but this item was both everything I needed AND a great price.

Excellent purchase

I took the hard drive out of my old laptop and hoped it wasn't the reason for the laptop's demise. It was simple to set up and all of my files were still on the hard drive. No software was required but it took a while to find a lot of the stuff. It wasn't until I changed the setting under View to "show hidden files" that everything was there under Windows Users. This is cheap enough to give it a try before taking an old drive to a tech who is going to snoop through your files and charge you a bundle.
