I was surprised by this toaster given the low price. The handiest feature is the release bar below the push down lever. This allows you to check your toast or bagels just in case you're wondering how they're toasting. Like the cool touch exterior.

Hamilton Beach 2 Slice Toaster
I am so pleased with this Hamilton Beach 2 Slice Toaster. Over the past 20 years I have had a variety of toasters and I have had problems with the latch when you push down the lever to start toasting the bread, those other toasters would hang up and burn the bread or not latch at all. This new Hamilton Beach 2 Slice Toaster works perfectly every time.

I recently purchased this toaster, and I have no complaints. It does what its supposed to do. Toast! Lol. Ive really been using it to toast bagels and they have been coming out marvelous, and just right on the right setting. Not too big or small, fits just right in my kitchen.
