This kit is engineered to work with popular minibike clutches that have 4-1/8" drum diameters such as Max Torque and Hilliard* Universal clutch band brake kit. 4" band. This Clutch Band Brake Kit offers everything you need to install a band brake on your minibike or go-kart engine in one easy step! Installation Instructions This Clutch Band Brake Kit offers everything you need to install a band brake on your minibike or go-kart engine in one easy step! This kit features a 11 gauge heavy-duty mounting bracket that enables the user to mount the clutch sprocket inboard or outboard with no additional work! It is designed to use with engines that have the industry standard 4 hole pattern on the side cover (Predator, GX140, GX160, GX200, GX390, Briggs, Clinton, and Tecumseh). Kit includes mounting bracket, 16ga steel cover, 4" brake band, conduit stop, and all mounting hardware. Your engine must have 4 threaded holes in the side cover around the crankshaft for this kit to be mounted to your engine*This kit is engineered to work with popular minibike clutches that have a 4 1/8" drum diameters such as Max Torque and Hilliard *The bracket and clutch cover are raw steel and will need to be painted or powder coated. No Chain = No Brake! If you lose your chain, you lose your braking system.
