This is a very nice pad that is super comfortable for our dog. We have it in the living room and our dog is on it a lot. I don't know if he can tell with all his fur or not but the cover is a minky-type fabric and very soft. We have had it about a month and it shows no sign of mashing down from his weight.

This bed is AMAZING for the price. I've spent way more on crappier pet beds. I only wish I could find one in my size because this bed is really thick and soft. It doesn't collapse when you put weight on it like some foam pet beds and even mattress toppers.

After opening the box, removing the plastic wrapping and unrolling this beauty- I left it to do its expanding thing. About 30 minutes later it had grown from 1 inch thick to over 3 inches thick. My doggo loves this bed, it's great for her old hips as it provides allot of support and is very comfortable for her.
