Warm up spray paint before use. Any brand.. Put it in hot water or on the register if heating work area. Test on a piece of paper or cardboard for spray pattern.

The mechanism is a little unusual, but it works fine. It helps to warm the can in hot water briefly before using it to produce a fine mist when spraying. Vigorous and frequent shaking before and during use is important (as with any spray paint). The resulting sheen is somewhere between matte and flat, but it meets our needs well. I can recommend this product.
