Big incentive for EMP whole house

Ask your home owners insurance agent if you can get any reductions. I am supposed to get 10% of homeowners by installing a whole house surge protector! Luckily I had tons of room for a 2 Pole 20 Amp breaker in the main panel. Keep wires short as possible, I mounted mine outside the main panel to see the two green lights.

Well constructed with high surge rating

The surge protection device seems very well made. NEMA 4X rated so it can be installed outdoors. I installed the surge device in an exterior panel. Definitely a durable commercial product. Easy to install. This has the highest surge rating I could find at reasonable price. Recommended.
