A potentially-useful product; possibly more useful
These may be worth it. Unstated is the fact that the threads for attaching the water bottle you supply (an ingenious idea) are threaded for 2-liter plastic bottles, not - what appears in the illustration - the more common 1-liter plastic water bottle. I think you could use a common water bottle by drilling a small hole in the cap, and gluing the cap onto the spike. The drip irrigation rate will have to be set by trial-and-error. A simpler way would be to cut the end of the spike off and let the water filter directly into the ground around the plant, via the hollow spike. Might be easier and more uniform. Just a suggestion.
