New model has no igniter which I like because I'm used to using a separate striker.
I recently replaced my torch with a new one. The new model seems slightly improved. The “reach” is a little better as I am tall enuf (6'+) to experience a bit of strain after long usage, similar to every vacuum cleaner I've ever used. Flame pattern is more focused.
