I went from a Fram Tough Guard air filter to this thinking it would improve my overall horsepower and MPG and boy has it ever! Within the first month my hp has increased by at least 5hp and I'm getting almost 18 mpg! Which is fairly decent for a 5.0 v8 engine. I would recommend this filter to those wanting to get the most out of their ford 1995 F150 pickup!

I recently purchased a 1996 F-150 with a 5.0L 302Ci V-8 4x4 from my dad. He had a K&N filter in the stock air box and lovingly cared for this truck. This truck has 132000+ miles on it and was having some pinging issues when using 89 octane going up hills. I thought maybe a sensor was bad. I took it in and had Ford plug it up to the computer. They said that it was fine and ran like a truck with 1/4th the amount of miles on it. They thought that maybe my air filter was dirty or that I had some water in a bad batch of gas. So I went down the street to the local performance shop and ordered up an FIPK (I was going to anyway). It took 20 minutes to install and I went from pinging up hills to no ping and noticed a great increase in power. Thanks for the great product and keep up the good work.

Just put it on my 1992 Ford F-250 and have noticed improved fuel efficiency. I have noticed about 10hp gain. I am thinking about buying K&N for all of my family's vehicles.
