Our granddaughter has used this almost daily in the pool. She can't swim yet, but this float has given her confidence to keep up with the bigger kids, as it keeps her afloat, and it keeps her head above water. She even used the pool slide while wearing the float. Obviously supervision is still required at all times that a child is in the water, but this gives some peace of mind.
