This kitchen island has far exceeded my expectations in quality and versatility; having joined the "less is more" movement, while still being able to entertain and cook. Recently divorced and retired, I moved to Florida wanting to downsize and start my new life uncluttered. This island is a great bang for the buck; solidly made, perfect for smaller spaces and equally functional. I was able to assemble this on my own, however, I would recommend (as stated in the instructions), the help of another person. Happily cooking and entertaining!

Great for small kitchen.

Ir took over 2 hrs to assemble, but it was well worth it. You have to have at least 2 people to assemble. It is perfect in our kitchen and gives us more storage and more room in our small kitchen. It is much better then I expected. We are very happy with it. We love the fact that we can move it around to be useful in different ways. Our grandkids love sitting at the island and watching TV while eating.

Exsactly what I wanted

I bought this to have a place to work with my kids in the kitchen. We love it and have put it to great use while baking to enjoying a morning cup of coffee while reading the paper. My only suggestion would to reinforce the drop leaf better. I do have kids and this part makes me nervous at times as it's not to sturdy. Over all great product.
