Your Fur Baby, will love this food and it's good f
We purchased the 8 lbs bag for my 7 year old Adult GSD. While he normally doesn't like dry food mixed with his chicken, or beef cooked meats we add this so he is getting the extra nutrients he may not be getting. While he may be 7 yrs old, he is pretty muscular and plays like a much younger pup . A big part of this has to do with his diet. That said, not only is this food healthy for him, he likes it which is good for him. I suggest that the next time you purchase dry for your puppy or adult but young at heart boy or girl fur baby, you consider giving this a try.

OMG! I'm so glad that I read the reviews! I bought this item in store yesterday, and it's the first time I gave it to my German Shepherds. They're getting older and need some veggies to digest their food, and with all the other brands as soon as they pick on their food they need to go outside to eat some grass. So, I thought I'd give this a try and pick up on the issues they're having as aging sets in; it usually takes them a full 24 hours to eat their dinner as they pick at it but, with this Iams Proactive Health, they didn't need to go out and eat any grass, they consumed their dinner in about 3 minutes flat, and there was no stomach or elimination issues for changing to a new brand. Now, I'll never change brands; in 24 hours I've seen a change in them and a new 'happy'. P.S. I bought the adult dog mini chunks so they'll think it's the cat food. I don't know what it is about the Iams Hairball cat food but they love it...:)

The Only Exception was one of our rescues that was highly abused who passed away due to a neurological disorder that hit suddenly and that was completely due to his first year and a half of being severely abused and malnourished.
