Well designed

This is probably the best overall USB-powered cooling pad you can buy. It will work with large laptops - like Alienware 17r3, but does flex slightly under the weight. Fan position is adjustable and the construction is metal adding to some functionality as a heatsink. To do better, I would recommend Coolermaster SF-19, which is AC powered but would also require some modding to improve on the cooling performance over the U3 Plus. (I am adding some Noctua 140mm fans, fan controller, and an AC 12V power supply).

Cooler Master

The Cooler Master is as I expected and it has worked well during the two weeks it has been in operation. My HP Laptop had been running very hot; I solicited the aid of the manufacture who charged a fee of $100 to fix the problem, but that endeavor was just a waste of money as the help was in the form of “lip service” and running sample versions of various virus cleaners. The problem only worsened with the upgrade of Windows 10. The cooler master has reduced the temperature of my machine to the point I have a marked reduction in delays due to CPU temperature.
