Noticeable color after one application, second application a nice golden tan. I used this decades ago and the product seems a little thinner and I believe the shade is lighter. Goes on smoothly, just pay extra attention to feet, toes, ankles and elbow area as product can cling in these areas and look like rust spots if not blended thoroughly. Has not come off on clothing, sheets or during bathing. Not overly yellow or orange but does create more of a golden peachy tan that goes with my complexion .
