Not Perfect but Nearly -An Honest Review
This clock arrived promptly on time. It was well packed. I chose it because I wanted it to nearly match my light oak kitchen cabinets and it comes pretty close. I am glad it has a shutoff for the chimes because my husband did not want to hear it. It is so silent with the pendulum. The only thing I don't like is it is a little hard to read the time. The face, of course, is covered with glass and between the glare and the fine markings of the roman numerals, it is hard to read the time, especially from a distance. When we sit at our kitchen table, and look at the clock, that is a distance of about 15 feet. From that distance, it is hard to read the time. The face is a little small, although it doesn't look it in the picture to the left. This is a fine clock, a cut above the norm. We paid a lot for it but we like it and we are going to keep it.
