Yonico Panel Raiser Router Bit - Bevel - 1/2" Shank - 12141

Create bevel raised panels using stock as thin as 1/2" with the Yonico 12141 bevel panel raiser router bit. The bevels slight 14.5° angle, allows you to cut the full profile depth on thinner stock. 1/2" shank. Use a raised panel router bit to reduce the thickness of the centre panel of rail and stile doors while at the same time adding a beautiful profile to the edge. Install one of these bits in your table mounted router and route your panels face down. Raised panel router bits have a large diameter and remove a lot of material, so make sure you have a router with enough horsepower to handle this kind of work. All standard raised panel bits are fitted with radial bearings to make adjustment of the router table fence easy. Do not use these bits in handheld routers. If you are using stock that is very thick, choose one of our raised panel router bits with a back-cutter blade. These will remove excess stock from the back of the panel as well.
