4c texlaxed, does what you need it to do, frizz controlled so nicely. Don't need much and blended well with an olive oil cream. Doesn't need to be reapplied between washes, reactivates with water. It's a really good value for the fact that you don't need much and it's a quality gel, not some watery mess that doesn't do much but smell nice; this is not that. Would be a bonus if you have a defuser to finish or twist out. I didn't do either so that's why I didn't attach photo 😂 I quickly ran my hands through my sons hair and his curls were noticeably very popping and extra shiny! Much looser curls btw.

it works, but has a s small set back.

It holds the curls for weeks. I love this brand. My granddaughter recommended this to me and I recommended it to others. But, the only thing I don't like is it can make the hair stiff and hard. what you can do in a couple of days you can spray with water and it will start softening up.

My hair is naturally curly/wavy, but needs a little help to define the curl. My hair is also, very soft and fine so it's hard to fine a product that doesn't weigh my hair down. This product worked, it helped to hold the curl add some texture to my hair. It will make your hair a little stiff if you use too much. The smell is pleasant, smells like honey, so it's subtle. I will say the product is very gooey, and stingy (just like honey).
