Broken elastic

I tried putting sheets on bed and the elastic broke. I was able to just tuck the sheet and I am using it but it doesn't look nice as it wrinkles after I sleep. I am not able to return to a store and I didn't think I should have to pay postage for returning. I will try and use for a substitute. Will not buy again. Violet Tyree
