These puzzles are great as an inexpensive gift. They lay in a bowl on my coffee table and when friends and family come to visit I challenge them to try to complete a puzzle before they leave. Great gift, and challenging puzzle!

This was a gift for my partner who loves Hanayama puzzles. This one was on the tougher side as it took him a few hours to figure out the mechanical element to get it apart, but when asked, he said he liked the challenge! He has since put it back together and it looks nice enough sitting on a display shelf. He said he will give it some time and then would like to solve it again in the future. He has been solving puzzles like this for many years, and this one took a lot of trial and error to solve. I would suggest buying this for an advanced puzzle solver, otherwise they may get frustrated.
