well made but heavy
solid product - will certainly do the job however I purchased with a GoPro attachment for my Hero 3+ for underwater filming. I can't imagine holding the telescopic handle for more than several minutes due to weight. Might want to consider the lighter monopods if in fact you purchase for filming with your gopro. I am sure it holds up well with other attachments (mop, etc). Won't float if dropped into the water - add a lanyard to the pole if filming over water - GoPros aren't cheap.
