Loving the Solstice

Loving this shoe. Bought it as a cross-training shoe which was to only be for the gym, but they are so incredibly comfortable and responsive that I've expanded them out to interval runs as well as around town. Going to have to get another pair. So light, not at all bulky, perfect fit. Only wish there were a sister shoe that had some tread so I could use them for trails as well.

Want these in a MaryJane for dress-up

I have 4 pairs of Lone Peaks, 2 regular & 2 winter. Now can't wear anything else but Altra. Please make a casual one or two buckle maryjane type to wear slightly more dressed up. The Soltice would be perfect in all black or all ivory/beige adapted to a maryjane for summer dresses. 70 years old needed zero drop after bunion fusion surgery! So happy to find Altras!! May try Soltice for summer. Like it in black & white!!

I broke the cardinal race day rule and ran a 10k in these the day after buying them at the expo. Not something I'd encourage, but worked out. Very comfortable fit, hardly noticed the shoes at all, which is what I really want in a running shoe. No blisters, hot spots, or weird spots, and ran a PR. Already ordered another pair!
