Great Kayak Anchor for Ocean
I've only used this for a kayak offshore in the ocean and it worked great for that even in rough seas with a strong current and wind. This product would be excessive for most lakes and rivers, but held firm in conditions mentioned. I haven't used it a lot (1 week trip), but is holding up to saltwater well so far.

Convenient and hefty anchor. I had the same one in 5 lbs, which was a bit too light at times for my need on windy days. This will do the trick. Btw- either take the clasp end (eye) off or secure it with Loctite. Otherwise, it will eventually come undone & be left anchored on the bottom of your location when you retrieve only your anchor line. It happened to me with previous anchor.

We have a jet ski and the anchor we originally purchased just is not right!! This one is perfect! The weight is just right and the size is perfect and fits like it was especially made for the storage area on the ski! Wish we had purchased this in the beginning. We like this one so much we have since purchased a 2nd one for our other ski!! Thank you!
