I needed a ladder to climb into my attic. This ladder met all my requirements. It had to be adjustable in height and easy to use. The bonus is the storage. It doesn't take much room and is easy to carry. I used it to climb onto my roof to cover the whirlybirds to help winterize my house. I like that it's stainless steel and the bottom of the ladder doesn't seem to slide around at all on my carport. It stays in place where I put it whether on my carport or ground outside. I've watched a few videos of different types of telescopic ladders collapsing when someone climbed them so I was very alert when I first used it. The locks on the steps seem very secure and after using it several times that I finally stopped worrying about that. I will mention that you need to be careful when closing the steps and not put you hand under the steps when you are unlocking them. The steps fold down fast so when they are unlocked. I'm a female and 71 years old. I'm not real strong or agile. I take my time climbing a ladder and safety means a lot to me since falling would cause me great bodily harm. This ladder is very useful to me, not only being able to climb onto my roof but adjustable to climb into my attic.
