To encourage a positive nitrogen balance, consume approximately 1g of protein per pound of body weight per day from a combination of high protein foods and supplements. Example: 180 lb x 1 g protein/lb body weight = 180 g/day. 180 g divided by 6 small meals = 30 g of protein/meal. Each serving of ON 100% Whey Gold Standard provides 24 g of protein. Blender - (Easy: a little more involved but worth the trouble) Add one scoop of ON 100% Whey Gold Standard to a blender filled with 6-8 fl oz of your favorite beverage. This protein is fantastic! I read reviews on it first before buying and I am impressed. Most protein powders that I've bought in the past have given me pretty bad ⛽, hehehe, but this one does not. I also do not make it as a drink, but I do make pancakes. 1 scoop vanilla ice cream powder, 2 T. liquid egg whites, 2 T. water, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, a few chopped walnuts. I eat them with blueberries and half of a banana. I did try to add bananas to the mix, but it kind of burnt them. I also make a weeks worth and freeze them. I will either pop them in the toaster or eat them half thawed, half frozen.
