Expressions Washi Tape

I received a free sample that I requested from 3M. I have used it to organize my new coupon binder. This product worked very well. Nice bright color that is easy to write on and tears cleanly. This decorative tape has a slightly glossy finish and is really easy to use in projects. The tape is thick enough to be sturdy but still slightly sheer, so if you use it on high contrast things, the underlying patterns will show. I think it's best on a solid color background but you may like the shadow effect. Until it's burnished down, it can be moved to get the placement just right. Once it's burnished down, it sticks very well. What I like best about it is that it's easy to write on. The finish won't cause inks or paints to bead up. A permanent marker used on this tape doesn't smudge. I like it for crafts, but a few strips put on waxed paper or parchment with a marker make an excellent way to mark drink glasses as well. It comes off the glass easily. My own favorites are the comic book effect one and the faux bois green. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
