Purchased for occasion rainy walks, these are substantial, and insulate against low temperatures, as well. The playful polkadots are a bonus. The heels appear to be solid rubber, unlike the hollow grid heels of the last pair of popular-name, rubber rain boots purchased. Only a guess, until they wear through. So far, a good value.
